Writer's Block Obliteration Tip #22: Fleshing it Out(line)

Start with the most basic outline possible—a single word for each paragraph or point you're going to make.  Then go back and add two words to each item, giving them a little more weight.  Gradually increase these increments of words until you have a fully-fledged outline and know exactly where your piece is headed.  Continue to build on that outline, and eventually you will have the work itself!
